Course Details


Requirements

You need to be able to speak, write, and read English. Other than that, our only requirement is for you to have fun.

Content

In short lessons, we will provide you basic knowledge in computer science and Java programming. After each lessson, you will gain practical knowledge through excercises.

Certification

After attending all eight classes you will receive a certificate that will verify your participation.

Pair Programming

Refugees work together on the exercises in teams, guided by experienced students and researchers from the KIT!

Location

We will meet in front of the old Allianz building close to the tram stop Kronenplatz.

Next session will be starting spring 2018.

Requirements

You should know the basics of Java (data types, control flow statements, arrays), and need to be fluent in English.

Content

We will take a deeper dive into Java: methods, objects, classes, …

Certification

After attending all eight classes you will receive a certificate that will verify your participation.
